Butter cake

Ingredients:

4 cup cake flour
2 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 bar butter or margarine
1 cup diluted milk ( ½ cup water, ½ cup milk
4 whole eggs

Procedure:

1. Sift dry ingredients. Set aside
2. Cream butter or margarine, add sugar gradually in 4 addition
3. Add egg one at a time, beating well after each addition
4. Cream well together until light and fluffy, add vanilla
5. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk
6. Pour butter mixture into greased baking pan
7. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
